12th Annual JFCS Celebrity Chefs Food & Wine Tasting & Golf Challenge

Jewish Family & Children's Service of the Suncoast, Inc., (JFCS) the premier social service organization serving Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties in Florida, has announced that tickets and sponsorships are now available for the 12th Annual Celebrity Chefs Food & Wine Tasting & Golf Challenge to be held at The Resort at Longboat Key Club on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Starting at 12:30 PM, golf ticket holders will enjoy a box lunch before hitting the Links on Longboat. At 3:00 PM a doubles tennis challenge adds to the festivities. From 6:00 PM on, over 500 guests are expected "Under the Tent" for a dazzling food and wine tasting hosted by more than 25 local chefs. Guests can also visit wine stations and a martini bar, or even sample old fashion egg creams, while enjoying live music and bidding on a silent auction. Ticket prices range from $100 for the food extravaganza to $200 to add the tennis challenge or $350 for individual golf play. Corporate sponsorship levels also vary in cost from $100 as a tennis court sponsor to $5,000 as a Golf Ace sponsor. All proceeds benefit programs and services of JFCS. Participating restaurants this year include Beulah Restaurant, The Breakfast House, Brooklyn Catering & Provisions, Café Gabbiano, Café L'Europe, Chart House, Cosimo's, Flavio's Brick Oven & Bar, Holiday Inn Lido Beach, Jack Dusty, Kobernick House, Libby?s Café + Bar, Lido Beach Resort, The Resort at Longboat Key Club, Louie?s Modern, Mattison's, Michael's On East, Morton's Gourmet Market, Muse at the Ringling, Selva Grill, Soma Creek Side, Sophie's at Sak's Fifth Avenue, Toasted Mango Café, TooJay's Gourmet Deli and Restaurant, Webber's Hot Dogs, and Zildjian Catering & Consulting. This popular event supports JFCS programs and services for vulnerable children, adults, seniors, and veterans in our community, regardless of their faith and on a non-denominational basis.
