Manatee County continues to move critical projects forward and provide services to its 400,000+ residents while also navigating the evolving COVID-19 recovery process. Join us as our County Administrator shares his “State of the County” address highlighting new opportunities, our biggest challenges, and future strategies. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about issues that affect you and your business!
About Dr. Hopes:
Dr. Scott Hopes officially became County Administrator in May of this year, after serving as acting County Administrator in April. He is responsible for carrying out the policies and directives of the Board of County Commissioners. Dr. Hopes oversees the County's annual operating and capital improvement budgets. The County Administrator is also responsible for ensuring that all agreements and obligations of the Commission are properly performed.
