Description
Auditions – NEXT TO NORMAL, Go Ask Alice, and COMPANY
2023 will begin with a bang with these three great shows and we are looking for talented and passionate performers to bring the stories to life!
- Auditions begin at 7 PM each night.
- Actors audition in the order they arrive.
- You should prepare a song in your key and be ready for any movement portion of the audition that the director may require.
- For Go Ask Alice, sides will be made available on our website at https://www.manateeperformingartscenter.com/auditions/
Anyone being called back will be notified that night of callback time and date. Not being called back does NOT mean that you are not being considered for a role.
If you wish to submit a video audition, please email it to Rick Kerby at artisticdirector@manateeperformingartscenter.com.
Video submissions must be received no later than Friday, September 16th.
* These are non-paid volunteer roles in all shows.
* You must be 13 years of age or older to audition for an adult role.
NEXT TO NORMAL opens Thursday, January 19, 2023 and is scheduled for a two-week run.
The show may be extended if there is a demand.
Rehearsals begin on or around November 20, 2022.
Go Ask Alice opens Wednesday, February 1, 2023 and is scheduled for five performances.
The show may be extended if there is a demand.
Rehearsals begin in December 2022.
COMPANY opens Thursday, March 2, 2023 and is scheduled for a two-week run.
The show may be extended if there is a demand.
Rehearsals begin in early January 2023
