Auditions Songs for a New World, The Drowsy Chaperone, Rocky Horror Show, and She Loves Me
We have four great musicals this Fall and want you to join us onstage!
SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD opens Thursday, September 14, 2023 and is scheduled for a two-week run.
The show may be extended if there is a demand.
Rehearsals begin on or around July 17, 2023.
THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW opens Thursday, October 19, 2023 and is scheduled to run through Halloween.
The show may be extended if there is a demand.
Rehearsals begin on or around August 21, 2023.
THE DROWSY CHAPERONE opens Thursday, October 26, 2023 and is scheduled for a two-week run.
The show may be extended if there is a demand.
Rehearsals begin on or around August 28, 2023.
SHE LOVES ME opens Thursday, November 30, 2023 and is scheduled for a three-week run.
Rehearsals begin on or around October 2, 2023.
- Auditions begin at 7 PM each night.
- Actors audition in the order they arrive.
- You should prepare a song in your key and be ready for any movement portion of the audition that the director may require.
- Anyone being called back will be notified that night of callback time and date. Not being called back does NOT mean that you are not being considered for a role.
- If you wish to submit a video audition, please email it to Rick Kerby at artisticdirector@manateeperformingartscenter.com.
- Video submissions must be received no later than Friday, July 7th.
- These are non-paid volunteer roles in all shows.
- You must be 13 years of age or older to audition for an adult role.
Please note that by auditioning, you are obligating yourself to a considerable rehearsal and performance process. Please be certain that you are willing and able to make this commitment.
