Saturday October 15th 10am-10pm Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce “BayFest” on Pine Avenue: 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Free and Open to the public. For Information call 941-778-1541. Bayfest Information/Commentary: One of the most popular, annual festivals on Anna Maria Island is Bayfest, a celebration of music, food, arts and crafts. This is Anna Maria Island’s largest and longest running music, crafts and food festival. The 16th annual Bayfest is Saturday, October 15th from 10am-10pm on Pine Avenue. This is an entrance free, family-friendly, public event. All of Pine Avenue is closed off to showcase local area arts and craft vendors, and an AMAZING car show with over 100 classic & muscle cars. There will also be a Kids Zone brought to you by AMI Health & Fitness with all kinds of fun games, bounce houses and more. Saturday’s music/band lineup: Emcee Mike Sales - 10am-10pm KoKo Ray & The Keepers 11-12:30 Whiskey Blind 1-3pm Billy Rice: 3:30-5pm soulRcoaster 5:30 - 7:30 The Karen & Jimmy Band 8 – 10 Food Court Features: T & L Bar-B-Q Award Winning Ribfest Bar- B-Q The Waterfront Restaurant The Feast Restaurant Corky’s Hot Dogs AMI Privateers Joey’s Italian Ice …and more Additional Commentary if needed: There will be continuous band music provided by a host of live entertainers on stage. Food is available from over 10 local high quality restaurants and caterers, selections ranging from local seafood and fresh grouper to; hot dogs, burgers, pizza, chicken and Bar-B-Q in addition to a variety of desserts, beer, wine, margaritas, rum coolers and beverages. It is a family free event with entertainment for both adults and children. There is a Classic Car Show, featuring exotic, vintage and muscle cars on display along Pine Avenue. There are plenty of opportunities for shopping as well - showcasing over 100 vendor booths along Pine Avenue: Unique and one-of-a-kind gift items, jewelry, local artists’ works, collectable items, tee shirts, island crafts, gifts and much more. Parking: Additional parking is available as you enter the City of Anna Maria at the Cross Pointe Fellowship Church. Ride the free trolley to Pine Avenue and Bayfest from Cross Pointe Fellowship Church, the Manatee Public Beach or any of several trolley stops on the island. The Trolley runs until 10:30pm. For all those parking on the street in the City of Anna Maria – please note that all tires must be off the pavement (they must be on the easement.)
