Location

The event will be held outdoors on the grounds of the Florida Maritime Museum located in Cortez, FL. 

All participants should navigate to and park at the F.I.S.H. Preserve field. Guests will take a short walk past the Cortez Cultural Center and over the foot bridge to the event. Directions to the parking field can be found directly through the link: https://goo.gl/maps/qcKB6pGDaByicvKc8. Parking is free. 

Fees/Admission

FREE. Food & beverage will be available for additional purchase from local food trucks.

Join us as we celebrate Suncoast Remake Learning Days with "Hands-On Habits," a FREE outdoor learning event hosted by the Florida Maritime Museum, Rowlett Middle Academy, and William Monroe Rowlett Academy for Arts and Communication!
 
"Hands-On Habits" will feature students from Rowlett Academies teaching the basics of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People® to participating families through fun, interactive activities! This engaging event is open to the public and registration is not required.
 
Parking is available for free at the F.I.S.H Preserve field, adjacent to FMM grounds. Guests will take a short walk past the Cortez Cultural Center and over the foot bridge to the event. Suncoast Remake Learning Days is an exciting, 10-day regional festival for families and children that celebrates the joy of learning together. From Friday, April 29, 2022, through Sunday, May 8, 2022, over 140 FREE events in Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties will be held as part of Suncoast Remake Learning Days.

The Manatee Chamber of Commerce, a Florida Chamber of Commerce, is located in Bradenton, Florida and serves Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, Bradenton Beach, Ellenton, Holmes Beach, Lakewood Ranch, Longboat Key, Palmetto, Parrish, and Myakka City.
