He has a passion for helping his clients and the community. Over the past three decades he has built a reputation of expertise, skill and perseverance, as recognized by his clients and his peers. Attorney Scott Kallins has practiced law in Manatee County since 1985. Throughout his career Mr. Kallins has represented clients challenged in several areas of the law including marital and family law, criminal law matters and personal injury claims. Erin Brosious is a founder and partner at Kallins, Little, and Brosious. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. Immediately after graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree, she obtained an accelerated Master’s degree in Secondary English Education from University of Florida in less than a year. She began her career teaching English at a Title I School, helping underprivileged kids, and ended her teaching career in Sarasota county where she worked for eleven years teaching English in all grade levels, from drop-out prevention to college credit courses. Erin obtained a second master’s degree in 2010 in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida. To expand her professional career and broaden her impact in her community, she earned her Juris Doctorate at Barry University School of Law, where she received the Advanced Legal Writing Book Award and was Secretary of Delta Theta Phi Law fraternity. Upon returning to Sarasota/Manatee County, her passion for public service was demonstrated not only by her devotion to adolescent literacy, but also in her capacity as an assistant public defender at the Public Defender’s office of both Manatee and Sarasota counties. Erin helped thousands of clients while working at the public defender’s office, working with clients who could not afford representation, and many of whom suffered from mental illnesses, homelessness, PTSD, and drug and alcohol dependencies. “We committed to standing up for what is right. Protecting the innocent was a founding principle of our country. That’s why you can count on us to be by your side. We will represent your emotional, legal, and financial well-being both in and out of the courtroom.
