Island Gallery West January 2020 Featured Artist - Jane Keeling Jane Keeling is our January featured artist with “See The Light”. This display is all about the wonders of light on land and water. An ordinary object can become extraordinary with dramatic lighting. Jane Keeling is an artist and art educator who considers painting the perfect excuse to spend the day outside discovering new foliage colors and treasures in architecture. "I relish the lush tropical environment of Florida. The birds, water and flowers of Florida offer superb displays in color and light," observes the Bradenton artist. "I approach my subject realistically, but am influenced by the Impressionists." Large and small paintings will be included. Please join us on Friday January 10th at the opening reception from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. A chance to see Jane’s exhibit and meet the artist! There will be music by Chip Ragsdale, appetizers and wine and many of the artist members will be there ensuring a wonderful start to the New Year. Island Gallery West is located at 5368 Gulf Dr., Holmes Beach, FL, Trolley Stop 15 on Anna Maria Island. Jane’s exhibit runs through January 31st. Regular gallery hours are 10am - 5pm every day.
