Judy Saltzman, watercolorist, is our November featured artist with "What's Cookin". Food is far more than a means by which to assuage hunger pangs. Shared occasions for "Breaking Bread" with family and friends are cherished as they provide us with a sense of well being, love, togetherness, comfort and security. Cooking and dining are central to everyone's day-to-day living. "What's Cookin" presents food as art. An award-winning watercolorist, Judy Saltzman, is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society (NWS) and the American Society of Marine Artist (ASMA). Her artwork has been featured in the International Magazine The Art of Watercolour, the National Magazine Watercolor Artist, The Artist's Magazine and North Light Books "Splash 19" and "Splash 21". Judy's works of art are passionate and her style innovative. Eschewing some of the classic looks of traditional watercolor, Judy pushes the medium beyond the borders. A highlight of Judy's month-long exhibit will be the Anna Maria Island Holmes Beach Art Walk on Friday, November 8th from 5:30-8:00pm, kicking off the season. You are invited to stop by for complimentary refreshments, meet Judy and fellow artists while enjoying our fine art.
