Description
The SRQ Philanthropic Agenda luncheon will explore the dynamic and ever-changing world of the independent sector and state of philanthropy in our region. What’s trending, who’s innovating, why are donor-advised funds growing so rapidly and what exactly are donors looking for? Catalyzing collaboration between Sarasota and Bradenton through relevant and future-focused dialogue, the luncheon will feature a facilitated panel discussion with representatives from both counties weighing in on the legislative, governance, demographic and generational shifts and other factors impacting non-profits our area. Don’t miss this deep-dive exploration into the factors influencing philanthropy on the Giving Coast. Guest Panelists include: Carol Butera, Executive Director of the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation; John Annis, Senior Vice President of Community Investment for the Community Foundation of Sarasota County; Mark Prichett, President and CEO of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation; Martha Wells, Former President of the Southwest Florida Association of Fundraising Professionals; Monica Van Buskirk, President and CEO of the Van Wezel Foundation.
