Job Description

Customer Service Representative I:  This position is directly responsible for the oversight and processing of initial SCAT Plus passenger applicants and proper filing of applications and department documentation.  In doing so, ensures that all Federal, State, local and program regulations are adhered to and eligible passenger transportation needs are satisfied.  This position is key to the SCAT organization that promotes outstanding customer service to the para-transit community.

Duties:

  • Work with the general public, vendor and internal/external contacts toward providing complaint resolutions including tracking the SCAT Plus No Show policy.
  • Enters all new and re-certification passenger applicants information into the Trapeze Scheduling Computer system.  
  • Accurately file and purge passenger application files.  Identify the passengers who will be requiring re-certification eligibility.
  • Arrange passenger functional assessment appointments for the Mobility Coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications:  A High School Diploma or its equivalent.  One year experience in clerical or public contact work and working knowledge of computer and hardware systems dealing with public response.
