Job Description
New College of Florida is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant for the Campus Police Department. The Administrative Assistant maintains and reconciles department budget and PCard records. S/he makes budget projections for use by the Chief of Police in developing annual budget requests, prepares all purchase orders, s all travel vouchers, and TER/TAR request forms. This position coordinates with Human Resources during recruitment for police positions and all other non-sworn positions, prepares hiring reports, and maintains all recruitment files.  S/he coordinates the multi-step hiring process for sworn officers, enters hiring information into the Automated Training Management System (ATMS) of the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission, and maintains proper forms in preparation of FDLE audit.
