Job Description
 New College of Florida is searching for its next Director of Operations in Enrollment Management. The Director of Operations reports to the Dean of Enrollment Management, and collaborates with the Dean in managing all aspects of enrollment management operations at New College of Florida. The Director serves on the Dean's leadership team and promotes collaboration within the unit by assisting the Dean with full integration of all policies, procedures, and programs. S/he stays abreast of higher education issues of importance to the State University System and to the Department of Enrollment Management, particularly those that require reporting to the Florida Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Education and creates systems to generate data for research and analysis of effectiveness within the department that supports informed decision-making by the Dean and senior staff.
This position develops, recommends, and implements technology and operations policies and procedures for the Department of Enrollment Management, ensuring that those policies are derived from the mission, goals, and objectives for the department and the institution, and are consistent with Federal and State laws, rules and regulations, and standards of good practice as defined by national professional associations related to admissions, financial aid, registration, and higher education research practices.
The Director supervises the Operations Team, which is responsible for 1) dissemination of the prospect-to-enrollee communication plan, 2) creation and maintenance of student records, 3) creation and maintenance of the College's online inquiry and application forms, 4) processing application materials, and 5) all data imports from and exports to outside vendors.
A bachelor's degree and eight years of appropriate experience is required.
