Job Description
New College of Florida is accepting applications for its next Director of Student Success Programs. The Director of Student Success Programs reports to the Dean of Student Affairs and provides visionary and strategic leadership for an office responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating outreach and support for all students in order to assist them in realizing the connection between curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular experiences.   The Director of Student Success Programs will also lead efforts to support student success, retention and progression to graduation. The Director will create, collaborate, and execute a strategic vision for the office to provide individualized outreach to all students, especially those who may be identified at-risk, and connect them to relevant campus resources. Additionally, this position will provide academic coaching and support for students on an ongoing basis, monitor and track progress of students, and develop and implement effective assessment and program evaluation methods and reports. This position will lead efforts to promote student growth and development through programming, leadership development, and other support services to include engaging with professional and community organizations.
The supervisory responsibilities include providing supervision and direction to the Assistant Director and the Office Manager of Student Success Programs, the Case Manager, and the Assistant Director and the Coordinator of Student Disability Services.
A bachelor's degree and eight years of appropriate experience is required.
