Job Description
Situated on the Gulf Coast of Florida and Sarasota Bay, New College of Florida is a nationally recognized, selective public honors college with a 10:1 student/faculty ratio. Students are intellectually independent and highly motivated. Undergraduate research/creative work has a central role in the curriculum, and a senior thesis/project is required of all students. Students receive narrative evaluations in lieu of grades. 

New College is entering a phase of unprecedented growth. The proposal developed calls for a five-year expansion that will see an increase in enrollment of 50 percent, from 800 to 1,200 students, along with the necessary hiring of additional faculty and staff. In our effort to achieve this increase, New College's Department of Enrollment Management announces an opportunity for a Coordinator for Graduate and International Enrollment.

The Graduate and International Enrollment Coordinator is a member of the New Student Recruitment Team and is responsible for supporting all aspects of graduate and international admissions operations and programs, including counseling students on preparation of application materials and informing them of various deadlines. This position works with the Office of the Registrar to ensure that international applicants have supplied all admissions materials including evaluated and translated academic credentials, financial resources, and proof of English language proficiency. There will be frequent communication with foreign embassies in the United States and with U.S. embassy officials regarding visits in foreign countries and government scholarships that might be available to international students.

The Coordinator will prepare graduate application materials for faculty review and coordinate the flow of admissions materials and decisions between Academic Affairs and Enrollment Management. In addition, this position will work with faculty to plan campus visits and open house events for graduate students.
