Preschool Educator

Forty Carrots Family Center is seeking caring and dedicated preschool teachers. Our NAEYC accredited program has low student-to-teacher ratio and a commitment to individualized curiosity, care and respect. Using developmentally appropriate practices and play-based activities, our Preschool Educators promote learning and growth in the areas of social- emotional, physical, language & literacy, science & technology, mathematics, social studies, and the arts. Our Preschool Educators employ innovative, creative approaches to learning that stimulate higher level analytical thinking and cognitive abilities, while also ensuring a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore their curiosity and talents and expand their awareness and abilities. This full-time (35 to 39 hrs/wk) teaching position requires a minimum of an associate degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or related field; bachelor's degree is preferred. Summer VPK Credential is also preferred. Florida DCF Child Care Personnel Training must be completed within 90 days of hire. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum is helpful but not required.
