Job Description
New College of Florida seeks to add a Senior Computer Support Specialist to its IT team. The senior computer support specialist initiates routine diagnostics to isolate causes of system failures and make moderately complex equipment repairs. S/he acts as the liaison with vendors for requesting repairs and maintenance, provides routine technical assistance in the use of computer hardware including printers and other peripheral equipment, performs basic network troubleshooting, connecting cables to various network/telco jacks and patch panels and must be able to create custom patch cables. A high school diploma and five (5) years of relevant experience is required.  Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
