Assists with events, custodial, and facilities duties. Performs custodial tasks such as maintaining public restrooms cleaning and stocking, removing trash up to 45 pounds, cleaning glass breakage and responding to custodial calls during events, while filling a custodial shift or filling facilities needs such as delivering packages, water bottles, supplies or equipment. Cleans areas as designated after special events. Vacuums, dusts, polishes, dust-mops offices and public area. May be assigned project work. Drives custodial golf cart to traverse 66 acres to deliver supplies and carry equipment. Other duties as needed.
Completion of the 9th grade. Ability to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 5pm through event clean-up. A valid driver's license or the ability to obtain prior to employment. Ability to safely work with chemicals, move objects up to 45lbs. ascend and descend stairs, and stand and walk for extended periods of time. Please note: due to the nature of the work and work hours, you must be at least 18 years of age to be hired from this pool.
Anticipated Salary Range
$10/hour - approximately 20 hours/week.
Schedule varies and is based on events and the needs of The Ringling. While the primary working hours for this position are 5:00pm - 1:30am, the incumbent may be required to work a flexible schedule including nights, special events and occasionally days. 2 positions are offered to cover Thursday - Saturday and one week day night.
Criminal Background Check
