These programs seek to develop mind and body through academics and sports training.\n\nPAL is a safe place where athletics and academic reinforcement instill pride\, responsibility\, self-confidence\, teamwork\, and respect in the youth it serves. We strive to be the most affordable and outstanding sports program in Manatee County. Sheriff Rick Wells assigned two deputies to coach\, mentor and teach the children in our programs. This relationship helps to prevent gang violence\, drug use and to stay away from negative influences that children are faced with in today's society.\n\n\n\nPAL is based on the strong belief that children\, if reached early enough\, can develop a strong positive attitude in their journey through life and toward police officers. \n\nOur major fundraising event we hold yearly is the Golf Classic which is on October 26\, 2020. The success of these programs is dependent on the proceeds raised from our fundraising event. The success of our fundraising event is dependent on the community's involvement\, sponsorship\, attendance\, and donations.\n\n\n\nWe hope that you will find it in your hearts and in your budget for 2020 to support this major fundraising event for PAL.
