SUMMARY:2016 VIP Event: Florida Department of Transportation Secretary
DESCRIPTION:Help us welcome Jim Boxold\, Florida Department of Transportation Secretary as he visits Manatee and Sarasota Counties\n\n \n\nThis event had been rescheduled due to Secretary Boxold's responsibilities after Hurricane Matthew.\n\n\n\nJim Boxold was named Secretary of the Florida Department of Transportation in 2014. As Secretary\, he is focused on improving the transportation network to benefit residents\, visitors and Florida's economic growth. \n\n \n\nUnder Governor Scott\, the state has significantly increased its transportation investments\, providing the largest work program in the departments 100-year history three years in a row.
