DESCRIPTION:The Leadership Manatee Alumni Association will honor Doug Wagner as the 24th Kent C. Schulz Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient at a luncheon on April 10\, 2019 at Pier 22 in Bradenton\, Florida.\n\n \n\nWagner\, a 2007 graduate of Leadership Manatee\, is the interim deputy superintendent for the Manatee County School District overseeing the business services and operations division. Wagner also serves as the executive director of adult\, career and technical education. \n\n \n\nWagner joined the Manatee County School District in 2001 and has 28 years of experience as a teacher and district administrator. Wagner is dedicated to the students of Manatee County and is a tremendous leader. His dedication has created a culture and legacy of excellence\, particularly in career and technical education which is a nationally recognized program.
