DESCRIPTION:As we all prepare to shift from online learning to the uncertainty of summer vacation\, My College Resource is excited to share a virtual summer program our team has developed - BestFitU! Designed after receiving requests for many years about programming for self-discovery and career exploration\, BestFitU is a program our team has developed for students to participate in virtually! In this engaging\, four-day workshop students will identify and explore their own Aptitudes\, Interests and Values while researching careers that match their results. This program is more than an interest inventory! We have chosen an assessment that is rooted in the science of identifying young adults' natural abilities. Based on their individual results\, students receive a variety of career options to explore. From there\, our team helps students map out a plan for connecting with professionals and exploring if they will find their best fit in one of these options. The result is a holistic approach to career and self-exploration.
