Her style can be characterized as social or photorealism with a highly technical and detailed structure\; her works are done primarily in pencil. The result is work that combines the fluidness of the human figure with the structure of architecture. Janet has had a long desire of recording life around her  recording history\, rather than creating decorative art. Janet is a Florida artist who shows her work at the Island Gallery West.
