DESCRIPTION:Manatee River Garden Club Annual Plant Auction (zeffy.com)\n\nJoin us for the Manatee River Garden Club\n\nAnnual Plant Auction! \nOn Thursday January 26th\, we will relaunch our Annual Plant Auction.\n\nOur plan is to serve guests an exclusive tasting of wine and cheese pairings\n\nalong with light appetizers. Later that evening we will start our Live Plant Auction\,\n\nwhere guests will be able to bid on many different types of plants for their yards\,\n\ngarden & home. \n\nWe are working with the Manatee Chamber of Commerce to build a prominent guest\n\nlist of like-minded people who will enjoy an evening out celebrating with friends\n\nand raising money for a great cause.\n\nAll proceeds earned from our Plant Auction will be used to fund our Manatee River\n\nGarden Club Scholarship Programs. All scholarships benefit Manatee County Students\n\nmajoring in horticulture\, agricultural research\, environmental studies or other\n\nrelated fields. Last year we had such amazing applicants\, we had to split our award\n\nin two! This year we hope to raise more money to fund the education of the many\n\nqualified students fitting this criteria. \n\nWe also grant scholarships to students in grade 3-8 to attend the Wekiva Youth\n\nResidential Nature Camp. This allows students to spend time learning Florida nature\n\nprotection\, teaching nature studies & conservation.\n\nWe are very passionate about giving back to our youth and helping to sustain the\n\nnatural beauty of Florida.\n\nOur Sponsors are very dedicated to giving back to the community as well and we have\n\npartnered with Sam's Club\, Total Wine & More\, The Home Depot as well as many\n\nother local businesses to ensure the night will be memorable.\n\n \n\nThank you in advance for your attendance and/or contributions.\n\nPayments for Purchases & Donations can be made instantly\n\nwith ZELLE to: mrgctreasurer1@gmail.com\n\n\n\n\nThis is a FREE Business Casual Event hosted by the Members of the Manatee River Garden Club.
