DESCRIPTION:The Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the REALTOR  Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM) is hosting a Mid-Year Outlook: The New Florida-nomics event with CCIM Institute's chief economist\, Kiernan "KC" Conway on Thursday\, July 25.\n\n \n\nIn partnership with the West Coast District chapter of Florida CCIM\, members of CID and other local business leaders are invited to attend this networking and informational event. The program will include Conway's mid-year outlook as it relates to the state of Florida. Unlike a traditional "2D economy\," anchored in tourism and housing\, Conway will explore the "3D-nomics" of the Florida economy and how it impacts commercial real estate.\n\n \n\nKiernan "KC" Conway is the director of research and corporate engagement at the Alabama Center for Real Estate (ACRE) housed within the University of Alabama's Culverhouse College of Commerce. With more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate\, Conway is a nationally recognized expert and speaker on a wide range of topics ranging from appraisal and bank regulation to ports and securitization. His areas of specialty include housing\, industrial\, litigation support\, industrial and office real estate\, North American ports\, and land development.\n\n \n\nOpen to the public\, networking will begin at 5 p.m. with program scheduled to start at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday\, July 25 at RASM South (2320 Cattlemen Road\, Sarasota\, FL 34232). Cost to attend is $20 for CID and CCIM members\, and $25 for non-members\; advanced registration is required. Cocktails and light bites will be served.
