DESCRIPTION:Mini Events are intimate events held in private homes and special locations\, with themes and activities to engage the community - connecting new and old friends.\n\n__________________________________________________________________________\n\n \n\n\n\n\nLEARN ABOUT HOSTING A MINI EVENT!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are grateful to live in such a welcoming and supportive community! At Sarasota Opera\, we especially love meeting new people and helping to form new friendships and experiences.\n\nYou can help us in this endeavor by considering hosting a Mini Event during the coming year. Our goal is 12 Mini Event offerings!\n\nHOW MINI EVENTS WORK:\n\n\n	Consider hosting a small event - Mini Event - with a special theme - be it a sit-down dinner in a beautiful setting\, an informative experience\, a unique adventure\, or any number of creative ideas you might consider or partner with friends to create.\n	To help spark ideas\, this year is the 100th Anniversary for the Sarasota Opera House!\n	To connect our Mini Events with this significant milestone\, we invite hosts to be creative and embrace the theme: A Century in Sarasota: 1926 to 2026. \n	Ideas you might consider\, for instance: \n	\n		A Costume party reflecting on fashion over the decades - 1926\, 1946\, 1956\, or 1976...\n		A scavenger hunt\, wine tasting\, or sunset cruise\n		A holiday-themed party\, like Valentine's Day\, Saint Patrick's Day\, 4th of July...\n		Share your passion for jazz\, blues\, theater\, or art event\n	\n	\n	After the date and theme are set\, your event will be listed with the other Mini-Events for the Sarasota Opera Development staff to take reservations and guest payments.\n	Your contribution will include the expenses associated with the event\, so that all the proceeds go to Sarasota Opera\, AND you will receive a tax-deductible for your costs.
