Description
The Trades: Critical Career Development for Our Community
-- Doug Wagner | Deputy Superintendent of Business Services & Operations, School District of Manatee County
-- Maura Howl | Supervisor of Communications & Grants Management, Manatee Technical College
Hear from a panel of award-winning students and young professionals on how technical education in Manatee County has changed their lives and what they look for in a community to live, work, and play.
As technology evolves and workforce demands increase, training for the trades is critical. As compared to four-year college degrees, technical certificates and training are viable and cost-effective options for our students and workforce. Our community will always have a need for the trades and Manatee County's technical college is among the best.
Please note cancellations after September 4 will be invoiced and cannot be refunded, as reservations will have been made on your behalf.
