Description
Gen Z: A New Generation of Customers and Employees Has Entered the Market
Featuring:
Dr. Richard Barnhouse
Vice President for Student Services & Enrollment Management | State College of Florida (SCF)
The "oldest" Gen Z are young adults entering the workforce and making adult-centric purchasing decisions, as well. Employers should prepare to integrate their strengths and understand their perspectives in order to successfully manage a workforce with up to five generations represented. Companies will need to pivot to offer Gen Z customers different value propositions than they've focused on with Millennials. Where is this all headed?

Dr. Richard Barnhouse and his SCF team have been on the frontline of serving the emerging Gen Z student cohort at SCF. Dr. Barnhouse leads a large institutional division comprised of multiple departments, operations, and programs. SCF is the region's first and largest public college, serving over 14,000 degree seeking students at campuses in Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Venice, and online. An additional 11,600 students also attend SCF as continuing education students. Over his career, Dr. Barnhouse has been invited to speak to organizations on multiple topics in higher education. Subjects often include leading through catastrophic institutional change, strategic enrollment management, and Generation Z.
