Carlos Buqueras has three decades of distinguished Florida port leadership and has been with Port Manatee as Executive Director since 2012.
Fredrick "Rick" Piccolo has over 45 years of experience in the aviation industry and has been President and CEO of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport since 1995.

“Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) passenger traffic set an all-time record for the month of November with 182,607 passengers traveling through the airport. Traffic for November 2019 was up 52% over November of 2018. Year-to-date passenger numbers are up 42% with 1,738,935 passengers using the airport so far this year.”
“Port Manatee has again broken multiple fiscal year cargo records, including topping 10 million tons of total annual throughput for the first time in its 50-year history and enjoying a year-over-year increase of nearly 50 percent in containerized cargo activity.”
