Join us on Valentine's Day as we hear from Bradenton Area Convention & Visitor's Bureau (BACVB) executive director, Elliott Falcione, on the current state of tourism for Manatee County. Tourism has a strong effect on the success of many of our local businesses and is a key driver of our local, regional, and state economies. Learn about the expansion and renovation underway at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, hear about new enhancements coming to Premier Sports Campus, as well as exciting new community projects like the launch of the Gulf Islands Ferry service. Falcione will share how the BACVB is continuing to create momentum in attracting repeat and first-time visitors to our destination with both U.S. and international travelers.
About Elliott Falcione: A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Elliott spent the first six years of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Club. Since then, he has spent over 30 years working for Manatee County Government — 15 of those as the Executive Director of the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. He and his team are responsible for showcasing Manatee County, domestically and internationally, as a destination for corporate, sports and leisure travel. He also oversees operations of the Bradenton Area Convention Center, the Powel Crosley Estate, and Premier Sports Campus.
