The long-standing tradition of baseball and Bradenton goes together like peanuts & Cracker Jacks. Join us as Pittsburgh Pirates President Travis Williams gives us the inside track on all things baseball, including Spring Training, and the impact of sports on tourism and local businesses.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are an integral part of Manatee County, having called the Bradenton Area their southern home since 1969. They give back to the community and are deeply involved in non-profit and business efforts. USA Today dubbed LECOM Park "the definition of ballpark intimacy" and the "Fenway of spring parks."
Travis Williams began his role as President of the Pirates in 2019. In this role, he is responsible for the baseball and business operations of the organization, with a particular focus on the Club’s vision for the future, connection to its fans, and commitment to the community.
