Don't miss the kickoff event of the holiday season; the Manatee River Holiday Boat Parade is back! The parade takes place Saturday evening, Dec. 9, 2017, starting at dusk, and makes several stops along the river including in front of the PIER 22 terrace and patio dining areas, with boats expected to pass by the restaurant around 8:30 p.m.
Attendees of the PIER 22 boat parade party receive reserved event seating, a glass of celebratory champagne, and tasty eats including housemade selections such as pasta primavera, carved prime rib, house salad, peel-&-eat shrimp, fresh catch, miniature desserts and much more!
PIER 22 is a designated judging stop, where officials rate the vessels based on criteria such as creativity, spirit, musical entertainment and crowd reaction. The audience is encouraged to participate, and the event is fun for the entire family! Limited seating is available, and advance registration is required
