Description
What is keeping you awake at night? Is difficulty sleeping affecting your quality of life? Do you remember the last time you woke feeling rested after a good night’s sleep? The most significant and frequent symptom of Post Traumatic Stress, or Acute Traumatic Stress, is difficulty sleeping.
“Companions along the way” offers educational and experiential opportunity for exploring how trauma is experienced in the body, why trauma sensitive yoga is one of the evidenced based interventions, for trauma recovery, with the most significant results being improved sleep.
Healing from trauma is possible, to know the peace of one who has found their way back home.
Valuable information will be presented, and experienced, for any person who wonders if they or a loved one is having difficulty healing from a traumatic experience, professional healthcare providers, educators, human resource professionals, and caregivers.
Facilitator: Kathryn Bumgarner, RN, MSN, CHPN,
