Join representatives from FNP for this six week series at Goodwill to learn how to buy and prepare healthy foods and stay active while on a budget.
Family Nutrition Program (FNP) is the federal SNAP-Ed program in Florida, the educational component of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Since 1996, FNP has provided FREE classes in nutrition education and obesity prevention to those in need. Previous participants of the series have reported significant increases in their intake of fruits and vegetables, use of nutrition facts labels, and use of MyPlate principles for meal planning.
