Every Saturday in October through May, from 9AM to 2PM, several blocks of Old Main Street (12th St. West), just south of the riverfront, are closed to traffic to accommodate the Downtown Bradenton Farmers? Market. The market offers healthy choices of fresh local produce, organic food, plants, flowers, and green-themed goods. Downtown parking is free on weekends, and dogs on leashes are welcome. The Bradenton Downtown Farmers? Market supports local farmers, growers, and businesses. The market?s major sponsor is the Bradenton Downtown Development Authority, and coordinator is Realize Bradenton.
