Description
Presented by: Erich Kron, Ian Humphrey, and Wesley Glenn with KnowBe4
Your Team is Your First Line of Defense.
Scam emails are getting harder to spot, and small businesses are a prime target. Attackers now use AI to send convincing messages at scale, including emails that appear to come from your boss, your board chair, or a vendor you trust. One wrong click can put your entire organization at risk.
What You'll Learn
- How to recognize a phishing email, including the red flags that are easy to miss
- What to do when you’re not sure, and why “don’t click” is the safest rule
- Risky attachments and look-alike links, such as a PDF that isn’t really a PDF
- How scammers use AI and impersonation, such as fake requests from leadership or urgent calls for gift cards and wire transfers
- How to build simple habits that keep your whole team alert
Whether you're a business owner, manager, or team member, this one-hour session will help you recognize potential threats and play an active role in protecting your organization. Your entire team is welcome to attend!
