Description
We are pleased to present the 8th annual Get Your Fit On! Event, hosted by the Junior League of Manatee County’s Kids in the Kitchen Committee. Get Your Fit On! is a fun, completely free event for elementary and middle school children of Manatee County held at LECOM Field on November 4, 2017 from 9am – 12pm. There will be lots of exciting activities for the kids, including inflatables, speed pitch, sports activities, dance, and lots of giveaways! The goal of Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen initiative is to promote child health and wellness by empowering children and youth to make healthy lifestyle choices, therefore preventing obesity and its associated health risks. Get Your Fit On! is one of Junior League’s community projects benefiting Manatee County children in our efforts towards that goal.
