Learn about business structures, business planning, profit and loss, and all the elements involved in starting a business at this free SCORE Manasota workshop. Topics will include what it takes to be an entrepreneur, making your business legal, and 10 steps to starting a business in Florida. Presenter Richard “King” Barnard has held high level management positions in the aerospace and defense industries, and he founded Management Doctor Inc., a consulting firm providing comprehensive business analysis and improvement recommendation services. A former faculty member at Florida Institute of Technology, Barnard is a SCORE mentor whose clients have twice won SCORE Manasota Client of the Year awards as well as an Entrepreneur of the Year award.
