Judy Saltzman’s month-long March exhibit "Sea Escapes: Celebration of the Sea and Sail" is a collection of vibrant and expressive watercolor paintings. Judy has a deep affinity for watercolor, both for its ability and its unpredictability. As an award-winning artist and Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society and American Society of Marine Artists, Judy explores the melding of realism and impressionistic style to create visual intricacy while adding layers of color for harmony. Her work has been featured in the international magazine “The Art of Watercolour,” the national magazine “Watercolor Artist” and “North Light Book-Splash 19.” The public is invited to the Island Gallery West reception on Friday, March 9 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM as part of the monthly Holmes Beach Art District monthly ArtWalks. Judy will also offer a demonstration “Just Add Water” at the gallery on Saturday, March 24 from 10:30 AM - Noon.
