Description
The Manatee Community Concert Band Presents a Tribute to George Gershwin, on February 20 at Manatee High School Auditorium, 902 33rd St. Ct. W., Bradenton at 7:30 pm. This FREE Concert will feature several of Gershwin's most famous pieces along with "Rhapsody in Blue" performed by former Manatee School of Arts Music Chairman and Internationally known pianist, Rod Keiser. In addition, The Band will be performing Highlights from Porgy and Bess, a Gershwin Medley, Summertime, I Got Rhythm, Strike up the Band, and many more of Gershwin's well known musical selections. The Manatee Community Concert Band is proud to offer Bradenton and the surrounding areas this FREE Concert of Gershwin's greatest hits! Doors open at 7:00.
