Description
MYP is partnering with Hope 4 Communities for their annual Day4Hope event, a meaningful initiative that helps local homeless and disadvantaged children start the school year with confidence.
MYP volunteers will have the opportunity to work directly with children during the event by leading arts & crafts activities and helping create a fun, welcoming environment for families attending Day4Hope. Volunteers can choose between two shifts: 8:30 AM–12:00 PM or 11:30 AM–3:00 PM.
About Hope 4 Communities:
Hope 4 Communities is dedicated to providing hope and help to children and families in need throughout our community. Through partnerships with volunteers and local organizations, their Day4Hope program helps ensure children are healthy, supported, and prepared to succeed when the school bell rings. Children receive essential resources and services including backpacks and school supplies, personal care items, clothing and shoe assistance, medical and dental services, haircuts, family portraits, and more.
