Description
Paddle over for a unique and rewarding service project as we kayak through the Braden River to Pine Island for a shoreline cleanup! In partnership with Manatee County’s Natural Resources Department, we’ll combine outdoor adventure with environmental stewardship to help keep our waterways pristine.
What to Expect:
- Paddle through scenic waters while making a positive impact
- Bring your own kayak and life vest or borrow them for from Manatee County’s Natural Resources Division
- Stop at key areas along the shoreline to remove debris and restore natural beauty
- Enjoy a guided experience led by Aedan Stockdale, Education & Volunteer Division Manager
Whether you're an experienced paddler or a first-timer, this is a great way to connect with nature, meet fellow young professionals, and give back to the community. Kayaks, life vests, and new friends included!
Free for MYP Members OnlyKayaks are limited and available on a first come, first served basis, so register now! Water shoes and sunscreen recommended.
