A brand-new community tradition is beginning in Palmetto! The North River Community Market will make its grand debut on Sunday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Yard at the Palmetto Marriott Resort and Spa—an outdoor venue unlike any other, perfect for connecting local makers with the community.
This exciting new market will become a monthly event held on the first Sunday of every month year-round, offering residents and visitors a vibrant and welcoming space to shop, eat, and celebrate all things local.
With a variety of hand-selected vendors, the market will feature artisans and creators offering handmade, locally crafted, and sustainably sourced products—from fresh produce and pantry goods to jewelry, home goods, decor, art, and much more. A wide variety of food vendors and food trucks will also be on site, serving up delicious bites for every craving.
A major highlight of the opening day will be the Chef at the Market experience, featuring Chef Anthony Castro of the Palmetto Marriott, who will present fresh, seasonal cooking demos and complimentary samples.
Live music from talented local musicians will fill the air, while families enjoy a dedicated Kids Fun Zone, making this an event for all ages. Access to the market is easy with plenty of parking and free admission.
