Rolling Remembrance is an 8,000+ mile long relay of an American flag from Seattle to New York during the month of May to benefit the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
The flag was flown on a UH-60M Blackhawk Helicopter on a combat mission in support of U.S. and Coalition ground forces in the Kandahar Province of Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom 2012.
The aircraft was co-piloted by Captain Amit Patel of 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, of Fort Campbell, KY. Captain Patel is from Yorktown Heights, NY.
Tropicana is fundraising to support the Children of Fallen Patriots. It costs an estimated $32,000 for the tuition alone of a 4 year degree. With the current 20,000 children who have lost a parent in combat, it will take $500 million to cover tuition costs for every child.
All proceeds go to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation to provide scholarships and educational support for children who have lost a parent in the line of duty along with a PepsiCo match.
Please also show your support by attending the Bradenton Ceremony. The event will be held at the HQ courtyard by the fountain where we will greet one of the Veterans driving the Flag across the US.
The Bradenton Ceremony will be on May 9th at 11:30 AM at the Tropicana HQ Courtyard
All are welcome to join: 1001 13th Avenue East Bradenton, Florida 34208
