Join the Lakewood Ranch Wind Ensemble for Salute to Service: A Tribute to America's Veterans on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Peace Presbyterian Church in Lakewood Ranch. Under the direction of Music Director and Conductor Joe Martinez, the Ensemble presents an inspiring afternoon of American music honoring the courage, sacrifice and service of our nation's veterans. Featured guest artist SGM (Ret.) Bob McDonald spent more than 26 years performing with the prestigious United States Army Chorus, entertaining presidents, dignitaries and audiences around the world. Well known for his National Anthem performances with the Washington Capitals, McDonald also has longstanding connections to Sarasota's musical community through his appearances with Choral Artists of Sarasota. The program features stirring selections including An American Fanfare, American Civil War Fantasy, Ragged Old Flag, The House I Live In, Battle Hymn of the Republic, God Bless America and an Armed Forces Medley recognizing every branch of the U.S. military.
