Famed Conductor Robert Shaw’s The Many Moods of Christmas to be performed by the Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus & Orchestra (AMICCO), Sunday, December 10th, 2 pm, CrossPointe Fellowship Church, 8605 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach, FL. 
With the tremendous success of the Symphony on the Sand Concert in November, AMICCO turns to the launch of its 25th concert season with an Island holiday concert offering fantastic musical excitement of favorite Christmas songs with a full symphonic orchestra and chorus.  

This is a must for the holiday concert season of musical events, showcasing the sheer joy, excitement and power of the glorious presentation of Christmas favorites. The soaring music of The Many Moods of Christmas grouped into four suites will lift your spirits and have you feel the joy of the season.  

AMICCO brings forth its uniqueness in the arena of musical organizations of southwest coastal Florida as the only performing entity to include both standing chorus and professional orchestra.  The Many Moods of Christmas is the perfect selection to display this exceptional grouping.   Selections include Silent Night, O Come, All Ye Faithful, Joy to the World, Away in a Manger, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.  These are Christmas Carols long held in our memories that are timeless in our celebration of the holidays.  

AMICCO is incredibly excited to share the joy and harmonies of the Christmas season with our community. The AMICCO Chorus and Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Gershfeld will bring to life these beautiful selections in the style AMICCO is known for – accomplished vocalists paired with a professional symphonic orchestra.  All AMICCO Musicians are members of the Island/Manatee and Sarasota Counties community – your neighbors, friends and family.
