Join a panel from the Palmetto Community Redevelopment Agency to explore the award-winning Palmetto Bay Oyster Restoration Project. Learn how more than 300 Reef Balls are restoring oyster habitats, improving water quality, and supporting marine life in the Manatee River.
The discussion will explore the project’s promising early results, its quarterly scientific monitoring, and its connection to nearby Connor Park, a 550,000-gallon stormwater reservoir that helps filter runoff before it reaches the restoration area.
