Financial Accountant

Forty Carrots Family Center is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to manage financial and operational systems, processes, and internal controls. In addition, this role will serve as a backup for payroll processing and reporting. The position will also be responsible for compiling and reporting on key metrics, maintaining the integrity of database systems, and supporting fundraising efforts with financial data and analysis. The Financial Accountant will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the development team, program directors, and HR Manager. Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience) with at least five (5) years of relevant experience. The position requires sound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in a nonprofit setting, proficient computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and strong analytical and communication skills. Experience with QuickBooks Online and Salesforce is preferred. The anticipated hiring range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000/year plus competitive insurance benefits, retirement match, and paid time off.
