CONFIDENTIAL ****** Human Resources Director – Commercial Collection Agency Key Responsibilities HR Strategy & Leadership Align HR strategy with agency performance goals, compliance requirements, and growth targets Advise executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, and culture Talent Acquisition & Retention Oversee recruiting and onboarding for collectors, legal support staff, compliance, and leadership roles Develop retention strategies in a high-turnover, incentive-based environment Employee Relations & Performance Management Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions Oversee performance management systems tied to productivity, quality, and compliance standards Coach managers on corrective action, documentation, and performance improvement Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with employment laws and industry regulations (e.g., FDCPA-related training and policies) Maintain accurate personnel records and support audits, licensing, and regulatory reviews Compensation & Incentive Programs Administer compensation structures, commission plans, and incentive programs for collectors Partner with finance to ensure accurate payroll and incentive payouts Training & Development Oversee onboarding and ongoing training related to compliance, call quality, and professional conduct Support leadership development for supervisors and managers HR Operations Manage HR policies, HRIS, benefits administration, and HR vendors Track and report key HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, and performance trends
