Payroll Administrator

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Payroll Administrator will support all aspects of payroll operations, including data entry, clerical duties, reporting requirements, and client account maintenance. Time will be delegated to support timely, accurate, and compliant payrolls, and creating exceptional customer service. The Payroll Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of Client payroll. This position requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll using dedicated software, reconciling accounts, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Additionally, the Payroll Administrator will assist with quarterly and year-end processes and maintain client payroll records. Additional tasks may include, but are not limited to: • Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll systems • Correspond with clients and employees via, in-person, phone, mail and email • Conduct clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling, filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, shipping, etc. • Collaborate with other members and leadership team • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations • Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation • Administer and distribute reports as instructed QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening) • Comfortable working with payroll-related cloud-based technology solutions • College Degree Preferred PREFERRED SKILLS • Customer Service and Sales minded personality • Knowledge of Payroll Administration or Human Resource related tasks • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • High attention to detail and focus on accuracy • Successful candidate must be a self-starter, can manage multiple tasks and be able to work with minimal supervision, as well as demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and requests • Proficient in using Paychex or similar payroll software. UKG experience is a Plus!

Position Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $41,000 - $60,000/year
